Biography

A Director of Dharam Consulting Owain has over 17 years’ experience in the construction industry with significant experience for General Contracting, Construction Management and Quantity surveying firms. Owain possesses both pre-contract and post contract experience representing owners, architects, engineers and construction managers. Owain has experience in all the main sectors with an emphasis in Healthcare, Life sciences, Commercial, Cultural, Education and Infrastructure/ Transportation sectors. 

Prior to joining Dharam Consulting Owain was a senior lead for pre-construction at Shawmut Design and Construction and before that managed the East Coast MEP Team for Davis Langdon AECOM. His expertise includes managing teams and projects from conception to completion including providing early phase cost modeling and cost planning as well as leading the cost management process though all phases of a construction project.  

He has been involved in all aspects of pre-construction and post-contract controls; advising clients on: budgets and value management, procurement methodology, bid package management, contract negotiations, reconciliation processes, change order account management, earned value analysis, and final account negotiations for major projects both in the USA and UK.
