The project
The Russ Berrie Expansion is a new 9-story, 81,860 SF research building addition at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, supporting advanced biomedical research.The project includes ground-level space, six floors of laboratory facilities, a dedicated vivarium and office level, a mechanical floor, and renovation of the existing Russ Berrie Building lobby, with extensive net-zero performance goals integrated into the design.
