The project
The 512,000 SF Albert Sherman Center serves as a central hub for the University of Massachusetts Medical School, physically linking existing campus buildings through landscaped plazas and elevated pedestrian bridges. Educational and public functions are organized around a central atrium, while upper floors house advanced research laboratories, core facilities, offices, and conference spaces, supporting collaboration across scientific disciplines.
