The project
The 277,000 SF transformation of Wellesley College’s Science Center reimagined multiple existing buildings into a cohesive academic and research hub. The phased project included renovation of classrooms, offices, and laboratories, modernization of the L-Wing and campus greenhouses, and creation of a new atrium linking Sage Hall to the L-Wing. Designed as a “living laboratory,” the facility strengthens connections between teaching, research, and the surrounding landscape. SOM.
